Leadership
Leemarie Mosca, President and CEO
Leemarie was named President/CEO in February 2019. She has been with Rosie’s Place since 2008, previously serving as Vice President of External Relations.
Ms. Mosca oversees a diverse array of programs serving more than 1,000 homeless and nearly homeless women each month. Her responsibilities include ensuring a welcoming and secure environment that is sensitive to the needs of our guests, directing the annual budget process and annual and capital fundraising strategies, promoting community awareness, providing leadership in the community as an advocate, and promoting solutions to homelessness and hunger.
Ms. Mosca joined Rosie’s Place 16 years ago, as Director of Development and Public Relations, and was promoted to Vice President of External Relations in 2016. Under her leadership, annual revenues have tripled; today, Rosie’s Place is a $16 million organization employing 98 staff. Ms. Mosca has over two decades of development experience, having previously served as Director of Annual Fund and Development Operations for Horizons for Homeless Children. She is a member of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s Access to Justice Commission and serves on the Massachusetts Federal Funds Equity and Accountability Review Panel. Ms. Mosca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ithaca College.
Sue Chandler, Chief External Relations Officer
Sue joined Rosie’s Place in 2024 and oversees the Development, Communications, Community Engagement and Public Policy departments.
Liz Chaves, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
With Rosie's Place since 2014, Liz manages the Fiscal and Operations departments.
Sandy Mariano, Chief Program Officer
Sandy, a trained mental health clinician, oversees Advocacy Programs, Emergency Guest Services and the Women’s Education Center. She has been on staff since 2004.
Erin Miller, Chief Strategy Officer
With Rosie’s Place since 2012, Erin oversees the Human Resources and Knowledge Management departments.
